Viva Mexico City

This picture is amazingly funny. My friend Donald(the tall one) and his husband Pauly (the short one) are in Mexico City on a business trip for Donald's work. As you can see they are quite busy handling "business"
They are the owners of Pinecone (Black Poofball mentioned in previous blogs)
I think we are taking Pinecone on Saturday while they are gone. It seems Pinecone's Godfather is a little overwhelmed with caring for something so little and demanding all the time. It's ok Dale, we understand. :)

Minnesota Nice

My friends from Minnesota came into town last weekend. We had a great time! I picked them up at the airport on Thursday and brought them to Fairway in Harlem. Allison and Gretchen freaked out! Fairway is a little overwhelming with it's ginormous cold room and large quantities of olive choices. Here is a pic of us in the Fairway jackets before we went into the cold room.

Then we came home and ordered Chinesse food! So New York...

The next night Sunil and I picked up Marlon and met Gretchen and Allison in Midtown for some dinner. then they were off to see Hairspray on Broadway. Their original plan was to come see Grease but ended up seeing Hairspray instead, which I think is way cooler. Here we are at dinner...

Here is Allison, Marlon, and I posing on the steps in our apartment building...

Last but not least, I leave you with a cutie pic of Gretchen and her awesome children! They weren't in NYC but this pic was on Gretchen's camera when I downloaded the pics!

Violin and Elephants

Two Thursdays ago (That's how far behind I am with blogging)I took Marlon to her Violin lessons. Her teacher's name is Greta and she is the greatest teacher! I walked out of the 45 minute lesson with more knowledge of the violin than I've ever had. Side note, I played the violin in fourth grade. Here are pictures of M hard at work. I also took a video with my cell phone but have to figure out how to download it.

Last Sunday M and I dropped S off at the train riding her bike (not on her own yet,but soon) then went to a park a couple blocks away. It had an elephant to play on! Why couldn't I have an elephant when I was young :(

Office Fun

It's been crazy in the office lately, and really I never thought I would ever hear myself say something like that. I grew up loathing a 9-5 job. The thought of it made my skin crawl. The day I showed up at Centre and my friend Emma showed me to my seat my mouth dropped. It was a cubicle! I was, for the first time in my life, sitting in a cubicle! I was used to wearing leotards and dance pants to work. My bag was always filled with 3 pair of shoes(ballet, tap, and jazz). Now I had to dress nice, and make sure my hair was combed. Needless to say, I like my job and the 9-5 thing is working out well. Of course, being the goof I am, I've turned the place upside down. So much so, I have the most serious, hard-working executive assisant playing practical jokes on me.

I put boxes in front of the entrance to his cube so he couldn't get out, funny crap. He in turn, did this while I was away from my desk.
