Palm trees and the gulf! I should turn my notice in at work cuz I'm never going back to Yankee country! Just kidding Steve, I'll be back, don't fire me! :)

Sunil worked all day and I went cruisin' around Naples Florida. I shopped at Walmart! We need a Walmart in NYC! It was quiet and empty and I could leisurely stroll down the aisles(sigh) This is how life is outside of the city...I forget these things.

I went to the beach, but of course the cold front followed me down here. It was WINDY!!! And I guess it was cold to the Floridians, they were all in long sleeve shirts. Not I, I had some Freckles to earn, I was out in a tank top and sun dress! If it's not 35degrees, it's a warm front for me.

This pic is my "Self Portrait" on the beach. Sunil and I head down to Key Largo tomorrow morning. I can't wait!

Well, I'm signing off for now. Time to watch bad tv! Sunil's tour has put him up in the lavish AmericInn. Nothing like traveling and staying in style! :P

"Here comes Rita"

I have performed my very first comedic monologue! It was a lot of fun and terrifying at the same time! Most of you know that I absolutely found my freedom in comedy improv and have just recently been learning how to write sketch comedy. The most frightening part of writing is having that fear that you write something that you think is hilarious and that no one laughs at! Thank God that didn't happen this performance. I've attached the video to the title, so just click on "Here Comes Rita" and you can check it out!

What is kind of lost in the video is the 43DD's I had courtesy of two bags full of bird seed!

YeeeeHaaaaa! Rodeo!

I went to the Rodeo and watched some very manly men get thrown around by very large dangerous looking bulls. It was awesome! I don't have many reasons to wear my cowboy hat in the city so I was very excited. I couldn't believe how stressed I was for the cowboys to stay on the bull for 8 seconds.

We saw one cowboy get poked in the butt by his bull, that was scary. It was amazing how the crowd suddenly grew quiet to see if the guy was going to get up or not. Very tense. But all is well as he got up and walked out of the ring all by himself. A 19 year old boy ended up winning the event. He was a baby!!!

My friend Courtney(cowboy hat) is from Texas so she was an old pro at watching the rodeo. Meanwhile, Angela, Kathleen(not pictured) and myself are all "city slickers" who freaked out at everything biting all our nails off. We wanted to see the bulls way more than the cowboys. Our favorite is when the bulls freaked out and went after the guys in the ring.

The friends I went with ended up going to "Rodeo Bar" to snag themselves a cowboy at the afterparty. Me being the dedicated wife that I am went home and behaved myself!

Sunil and I have been married for 3 years! Wow how time flies when life is kicking you in the butt! Just kidding. Sunil and I have been through stuff that I wouldn't want to wish on anyone, but the great part about it is, we have survived, and our relationship is stronger than ever.

My advice to anyone that is wondering how to make a relationship work is; forgiveness and laughter! Without forgiveness your relationship is bound to fail, because no one is perfect and we all screw up. And without laughter your relationship will fail because life sucks, and it's hard work, and if you can't laugh together and if you take each other to seriously than life will wear your relationship down.

I love my husband. And he loves me too, just look at his tattoo! Yes, that's me. Sunil is kind, funny, smart (even with a chunk of his brain missing, he's still smarter than me!) AND he gives really good foot rubs!

The best part about out relationship is that we are the biggest dorks together! Real life is serious enough, we don't need to bring that into our relationship! :)
All kidding aside, I thank God that Sunil's health is good, and that he is able to have a relationship with his daughter. I'm thankful for our little family unit.
